StartupJuncture and KPMG Innovative Startups, part of accountancy firm KPMG, will work together to dive deeper into the Dutch startup scene.

Both companies announced on Wednesday that they will produce joint content to offer more insights on several subjects, including startup and corporate collaboration, data & analytics, fintech and robotica.

A new series of video interviews will also be introduced: ‘Hit Enter’, in which the editors of StartupJuncture will interview different stakeholders in the Dutch startup scene. “We want to give our own Jack Dorsey’s a voice”, says StartupJuncture co-founder Samir Saberi. “Dutch entrepreneurs like Pieter van der Does of Adyen.”

Focus

The cooperation with KPMG is part of a broader focus of StartupJuncture on providing sharp analyses, research and relevant insights. The goal is to create more understanding about, and transparency in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of The Netherlands.

“We want to work with organisations that make an effort to create a strong ecosystem”, says Saberi. “Working with KPMG is therefore a logical step.”

KPMG Innovative Startups, among things, strives to improve the collaboration between startups and corporates and develops services with tech startups. The Things Network and the Social Robotics Pop-Up Lab are two examples.

“StartupJuncture puts The Netherlands as a startup country on the map”, says Daniël Horn, founder of KPMG Innovative Startups. “It can help us to create more understanding of several subjects in the field, including startup and corporate collaboration.”
